Brush in the direction the hair grows with light pressure. For long coats, work in small sections. When the pins fill up, press the button on the back and the hair slides off.
Short and long coats on dogs and cats. It isn’t suited to curly, wire-haired or hairless coats.
The pins have rounded tips, but any slicker brush can irritate skin if you press too hard. Use light pressure, go slowly around ears, neck and belly, and stop if the skin looks red.
It’s made for loose hair and light tangles. For heavy mats, use a dematting comb first and never pull at a mat.
